Spring Loaded Technology announced as one of 10 Canadian technology companies accepted into the prestigious Lazaridis Scale Up Program.

Halifax, NS – September 15, 2017 – Today Spring Loaded Technology was among a small group of Canadian tech companies selected to join the second cohort of the Lazaridis Scale Up Program. The program identifies ten of the most promising Canadian technology companies each year, bringing them together to focus on scaling their businesses under the guidance of global thought leaders on a variety of growth-related topics.

“The goal of the program is simple,” says Chris Cowper-Smith, CEO of Spring Loaded Technology. “To help grow – and keep – more globally competitive technology companies here in Canada. We’re honoured to be one of the groups selected.”

The program includes a series of intensive two-day sessions led by experts on topics ranging from financing to accessing global markets.

Each of the companies will also benefit from coaching with a mentor chosen based on their specific challenges. “We’re eager to learn best practices and strategies from people who have already succeeded in these areas.” Says Cowper-Smith. “Our priorities are to continuously improve on our technology and ensure that as many people as possible are aware of our product, and able to access it. This program is going to help us do just that.”
